* If several reports for contract recognition are called up at the same time, the report category with the highest number of calls is used as the basis for billing. Example: If 100 insurance contracts, 50 electricity contracts and 30 credit contracts are called up, the number of calls in the Insurance report category in this case (100) is used as the basis for billing.

The use of finAPI products requires registration and/or authorization from a European financial supervisory authority (e.g. BaFin or FMA) for account information services and/or payment initiation services (“PSD2 licence”). This does not apply if customers only use their own accounts for our services (see “Access for own use”). For customers without a PSD2 licence and who are not own users, the prices for PSD2 licences apply in addition.
No additional PSD2 licence is required for finAPI Access for own users, as only own accounts are taken into account. For all other products, however, a corresponding PSD2 licence for account information and/or payment initiation services is required by law.
Definitions and notes
A call/retrieval is defined in the product description of the respective product and is charged according to the frequency of use. Repeated retrieval of the information is not cost-relevant, unless otherwise specified in the service description.
A user is defined by a unique user ID in the finAPI database. The number of accounts and bank details managed per user is not billing relevant, unless otherwise specified in the service description. The cancellation of one or more users can be initiated by the client at any time. For deleted users, the month in which the user is deleted is billed in full.
The prices are net prices, plus VAT at the statutory rate. The licences are calculated cumulatively. Example “Access B2C with 5,001 users”: €300 + (4,000 x €0.30) + (1x €0.27) = €1,500.27).
Standard support and shared hosting are free of charge as part of the SaaS licence. Prices for premium support, project support and consulting as well as dedicated hosting on request.
