About the job

The role of IT Operations

  • Cloud management: Management and operation of software in AWS cloud environments
  • Security solutions: Implementation and management of security solutions, including Microsoft Defender and Defender for Cloud Apps
  • SaaS applications: Management and ensuring efficient operation
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Management of tools such as Terraform or Ansible
  • Databases: administration and optimization of MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL
  • SIEM systems: monitoring and operation for security monitoring
  • Microsoft 365: Administration and further development of SharePoint, Exchange, Teams and Entra ID management

About you

Your profile

  • Completed education / degree in the field of IT, e.g. technical or business informatics or comparable qualification
  • Experience in the administration and operation of software in AWS clouds
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender & Defender for Cloud Apps
  • Experienced in SaaS application management
  • Experience with IaC tools, ideally Terraform or Ansible
  • Confident handling of Entra ID & Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams)
  • Plus points: Experience in operating SIEM systems, knowledge of Python, Bash and PowerShell scripting, device management in InTune, knowledge of MariaDB and PostgreSQL administration
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Strong communication skills and service orientation
