IT Operations employee (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for an IT Operations employee (m/f/d) to join our team. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing our IT infrastructure with a strong focus on cloud services, security, and automation. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and secure operation of our production and IT systems.

The role of IT Operations

  • Management and operation of software in AWS cloud environments
  • Implementation and administration of security solutions, including Microsoft Defender and Defender for Cloud Apps
  • Management of SaaS applications and ensuring efficient operation
  • Management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, preferably Terraform or Ansible Administration and optimization of database systems (MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL) including SQL
  • Monitoring and operation of SIEM systems for security monitoring
  • Development of scripts in Python or Bash for process automation
  • Administration and ongoing development of our Microsoft 365 landscape (SharePoint, Exchange, Teams) and Entra ID management
  • Windows administration and device management with Microsoft Intune
  • Administration of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
  • Organization and management of change management and incident processes

About you

Your profile

  • You have completed an apprenticeship or a degree in IT, e.g. technical or business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • You have experience in the administration and operation of software in clouds, especially AWS. Microsoft Defender & Defender for Cloud Apps are very familiar to you. Furthermore, you are well versed in SaaS application management.
  • You have experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, ideally Terraform or Ansible.
  • You are proficient in working with database systems (MariaDB/MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.
  • You are familiar with Entra ID & Microsoft 365 (Sharepoint, Exchange, Teams etc.).
  • Windows administration and device management with Microsoft Intune are part of your daily work.
  • You have already worked with Atlassian products.
  • A plus would be knowledge of the operation of SIEM systems, knowledge of Python, Bash scripting and PowerShell scripting.
  • You have an organizational talent for change management & incident processes.
  • Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
  • And you have strong communication skills and a service-oriented approach.
