As an IT Administrator (AWS, M365), you ensure the stable and secure operation of our production and IT systems. Your focus is on the administration and optimisation of our IT infrastructure, with an emphasis on cloud services, IT security and automation.
About the job
Your tasks as IT Adminitrator
- Administration and operation of software in AWS cloud environments, as well as management of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
- Management and operation of SaaS applications and ensuring an efficient and stable operation
- Implementation, operation and monitoring of security solutions, including Microsoft Defender, Defender for Cloud Apps and SIEM systems
- Administration and optimisation of database systems such as MariaDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL, including SQL
- Development of scripts in Python or Bash to automate processes
- Administration and further development of the Microsoft 365 environment with SharePoint, Exchange, Teams, Entra ID, as well as Windows and device management with Microsoft Intune
- Administration and operation of Atlassian products such as Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
- Organisation and implementation of change management and incident processes
About you
Your profile
- Experience: You have several years of experience in the administration and operation of modern IT and cloud environments. You are confident working with cloud and SaaS environments, have a good understanding of IT security and know how to operate stable systems in daily work. Automation, structured processes and clear documentation are a natural part of professional IT work for you.
- Qualification: You have completed vocational training or a degree in the field of IT, for example computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification.
- Working style: You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented way. You keep an overview even in complex topics and enjoy continuously improving systems. You also bring organisational skills when working with change management and incident processes.
- Motivation and willingness to learn: You do not need to master every tool in detail. What matters is that you can quickly learn new topics, understand technical relationships and take responsibility.
- Communication: You communicate clearly and in a structured way in German and English. You explain technical topics in a clear and understandable way and coordinate reliably with other teams.
- Responsibility and team spirit: You handle sensitive data and systems responsibly, bring in your own ideas and support the team through technical expertise and reliable collaboration.
